With grace I soar
Wrists crossed
Palms face me
In front where I can see them
They have scooped up the energy I need for today
From the earth
Who for moments
I remember with awe and gratitude
Her generosity
Her very life she gives me
These fingers flutter
Like the eagle dancer’s
Tremoring with life
Tremor and tremble
And remember
those
Who released shackles of
Not seeing clearly
Who saw and knew some things
Clearly
Respect for the land
Respect for one’s labor
Respect for simplicity
Respect for the body
Respect for releasing through tremoring
Remembering through trembling
Life of grace
Flutter and soar me
Remember clearly and see
